Hey Transfer Students!
This week, we’re talking about the Bachelor’s degree program Tribal Administration and Governance (TAG).
This major combines fundamental courses in Business Administration from the Labovitz School of Business & Economics with courses focused on Tribal Sovereignty, Tribal Governance, and Federal Indian Law and Policy. Students will gain the capacity to provide strategic management and manage human capital in tribal contexts, as well as understand significant federal statutes and policies that apply to Native nations.
TAG is a new degree at UMD that is completely online for students who have already completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree or have completed the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC).
(Non-transfer students would need complete the liberal education requirements on campus.)
